A solid interview.

Yesterday, I spoke to Glenn Kay, a zombie expert who has written a really cool book called Zombie Movies: The Ultimate Guide. Not only does it go into the history of zombies (a story from Haitian folklore about bodies raised from the dead to do the bidding of a voodoo master), but it rates and reviews almost 1,000 zombie movies. Yes, there have been 1,000 zombie movies. The interview is available at the cynical cinema webpage - we discuss zombie makeup, should you want to dress up for Hallowe'en, as well as movies. Some of my favourite bad ones - Uncle Sam, Plan Nine From Outer Space, Horror Rises From the Tomb, as well as some of the great ones - 28 Days Later, Dawn of the Dead, Night of the Living Dead, and Dead Alive (Braindead).
